High time just to remind you all about Birmingham’s People at Artsfest, which is really coming together now, thanks to our excellent band of happy sponsors and volunteers.

Thanks first to our generous sponsors - Calumet, who came on board early with the offer of some loaned equipment from their great range in their Birmingham branch, and now to the good folks at Snappy Snaps Birmingham for their generosity in providing us with prints and some additional support towards our marketing.  Thanks, folks.  It’s great to be able to partner with you in this.

Artsfest is only a couple of weekends away now – don’t forget we’ll be in Chamberlain Square (that’s where the ‘beach’ is currently) from 10am on both Saturday and Sunday.  If you’d like your portrait taken do come along.  Particularly if you’re in costume.

It’s not too late to get involved – we’re looking with people who’ll help us edit a bunch of video we’re taking on the day into short, snappy little interviews.  If you’ve done this before please contact us.  We’ll be tweeting (and twitpic-ing) over the weekend – so do follow us in preparation, if you’re so inclined.

The weekend is shaping up to be a lot of fun.  We hope you’ll join with us in creating another temporary photospace for Birmingham…in preparation for the permanent one.
