I have never been to Photofusion in South London but it seems to have a very strong membership bas as well as an educational angle. This latest event is a group exhibition of 13 photographers selected from Photofusion’s annual members, alongside a showreel of additional members work shown on screen. The exhibition showcases the range of genres present in members’ work, including portraiture, architectural and landscape photography, documentary and fine art photography. Amongst the work chosen are themes such as pollution, immigration, the lives of horse jockeys in England, space and natural catastrophes, photography’s relationship to installation and intervention.

Has anyone been. Is it any good?

Our next meeting of the Birmingham Photospace Group is Monday December 8th 6.30 – 8.00pm in the cafe at the Central Library. We are planning an exhibition of a different sort in February. Come along and join in.
